On behalf of the faculty and staff of West Feliciana Middle School, I welcome you to our family. Our school has approximately 515 students and 60 staff members.  While we are proud of our school facilities, programs, and previous achievements, we are continually striving to make our school better in every way possible to address the constantly changing needs of our students.

Our school was developed using the Middle School Concept. The Middle School Concept ensures that we focus on the unique developmental needs of our students as they progress through their early adolescent years. It is our belief that not only should we support our students academically, but we should also concentrate a great deal of attention to their social, emotional, and physical needs.

Our school offers a variety of academic programs to support our students, who consistently score high on state and national assessments. Our teams of highly qualified teachers provide an excellent learning experience for our students. The universal program shared by our staff and students is our 1 to 1 laptop initiative. In an effort to promote a 21st century learning environment, our school issues MacBook laptops or iPads to every student and instructional staff member.

We feel that a middle school student’s social and emotional growth is greatly enhanced by offering a variety of extra-curricular activities. At this time we sponsor over 20 extra-curricular organizations and sports teams.
