Clear Overall Measure of Performance to Analyze and Support Success |
This page is designed to provide all educational stakeholders with the most up-to-date, pertinent information regarding Louisiana’s Comprehensive Evaluation Model (Compass). To comply with the provisions of Act 54 and BESE-aligned policy, Compass requires the performance evaluation of all educators to be based on measures of student growth that take into account starting points and other variables that might influence actual performance outcomes. Compass is designed to capture the cumulative impact a teacher has on his or her students’ growth over the course of an academic year. |
